BONNES-MARES GRAND CRU

THE VINES
Our Bonnes Mares parcel is a narrow strip of 36 ares, stretching the full height of the hillside. Half of it was planted in 1988, the rest in 1961 and 1980.
Annual production varies between 900 and 1,500 bottles.
THE WINE
This vineyard, located between the villages of Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-saint-Denis, has an intermediate character between these two appellations. The influence of the Morey terroirs gives this wine its frankness, its solidity, its earthy character, an aromatic range that blends the red fruit that dominates Chambolle with more mineral nuances sometimes tinged with undergrowth aromas.
SOMMELIER'S ADVICE
Bonnes Mares can be adapted to more powerful dishes than other Chambolle wines: meat in sauce, game, etc.
It should be aged for at least 5 to 10 years.
