THE VINES
The Chambolle-Musigny cuvée comes from two parcels of vines:
– Les Plantes (surface area 56 ares 13 ca, planted in 1968/1969), classified as a Premier Cru but which we have decided to downgrade to Village.
– La Combe d’Orveau (76 ares 63 ca, planted in 1952, 1957, 1987 and 1998).
Annual production varies between around 3,000 and 7,000 bottles.
THE WINE
The hallmark of this cuvée is the intensity of its fragrance, very delicate, fruity and floral, which expresses itself widely from its youth. This expression is supported by a supple structure, never heavy, always fine, with a long, open finish.
Subtle and delicate, but also seductive, cheerful and radiant.
SOMMELIER'S ADVICE
Some vintages can be enjoyed young. All will age for at least ten years.
